Greenlight Re Announces First Quarter 2019 Financial Results
GRAND CAYMAN, Cayman Islands – May 6, 2019 – Greenlight Capital Re, Ltd. (NASDAQ: GLRE) (“Greenlight Re” or the “Company”) today announced financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2019. Greenlight Re reported net income attributable to common shareholders of $5.9 million for the first quarter of 2019, compared to a net loss attributable to common shareholders of $142.8 million for the same period in 2018. The fully diluted net income per share for the first quarter of 2019 was $0.16, compared to a net loss per share of $3.85 for the same period in 2018.
